Lowery's first opened its doors in 1938. Wesley and Lorelle Lowery founded Lowery's and watched it grow from a small lunch counter to a Family Seafood Restaurant. The restaurant has seen many renovations over the years with the latest taking place in 1997 when the front decor and the kitchen went through make overs. Lowery's is a family restaurant serving Lunch and Dinner 7 days a week and offering weekend breakfast 8am - 10:30am Saturday and Sunday. Daily specials are available for both lunch and dinner.
Lowery's features Fresh Local Oysters and Fresh Jumbo Lump crabmeat through-out the year. The All American Chicken is available in the main dining room as well as the Carry-out Shop where you will find a great selection of all your favorites. Before you leave the restaurant be sure to visit the back area and see the 1910 Cadilac and 1926 Chrsyler that were hobbies of Wesley Lowery and be sure to check out Jay-Boy the fourth Mynah bird to entertain at Lowery's.The Fishing Well is located in this area also and all children 12 and under get a fishing license to catch something from the well and turn it in for a prize. |
